This hand made leather pincushion contains a cloth bag packed with fine pumice powder.

The powder is a super fine abrasive which polishes and sharpens pins as they are inserted. It also helps to give the item some weight to help it stay in place on your table.

✤ saddle stitched by hand using jade fil au chinois french linen thread
✤ light blue floral material
✤ bevelled and burnished edges
✤ measures ~85mm square
