4.5x6” Reusable mesh screen stencil for polymer clay and other small crafts.
Made to order. Allow 2-5 days processing time.
Not into reading lengthy instructions before using your exciting, new toy? That’s cool, me too! Here are the majorly important things to know before using:
1. This “silk screen” is technically a reusable mesh stencil with a slightly adhesive backside, so keeping that clear plastic backing is super important to keep the stencil from getting stuck on things.
2. That clear backing sheet has a right and a wrong side! Be sure to always place the sticky side of the stencil on the correct side of the clear sheet.
3. The stencil is more durable than it might feel, but do not use scrubbing utensils to clean- hands and fingers only, and it works best to rinse it out while on the clear plastic sheet (always with cold water).
4. Definitely rinse or place in cold water immediately after using. And place it on the clear plastic sheet before placing it in water to soak so it doesn’t stick to other stencils/silkscreens.
Use Instructions
1. Write quot;BACKquot; on the clear plastic sheet (shiny side).
2. Remove the clear sheet, but do not throw away.
3. Place stencil sticky side down on your surface. You should be able to read the Goodnight Mars logo. Rub the stencil to make sure there are no air pockets.
4. Apply a water-based paint, ink, or paste to your surface using a squeegee, brush, or old credit card. I find heavier mediums work better, and thinner paints or inks run under the stencil more easily, causing a smeared looking image.
5. Slowly remove stencil from one or two corners to avoid smearing.
6. Reapply to the clear carrier sheet, and clean or place in water right after use.
7. Wait until dry to reuse.
Care Instructions
Rinse under cool water. Gently use fingers to rub away excess paint. Never use soaps or solvents or brushes to clean or scrub the stencil.
Reapply stencil to the clear carrier sheet, sticky side down. Store in a dry flat place.
